St. Anne’s celebrated its Tenth Anniversary of Building Spirit and Knowledge in 2002-2003. In responding to a groundswell of support and enthusiasm, it opened its doors to offer first grade to parents of our predecessor Nursery Kindergarten program in 1992. Our foundation as a school that provides an engaging and affirming environment and encourages children to accept intellectual risks, dates to 1960 when St. Anne’s was founded as St. Luke’s Nursery Kindergarten.

St. Anne's Day School opened its doors to Phase I of its new 10 acre campus on Arundel on the Bay Road in September 1996.

September 1997 brought the completion of Phase II, which added classrooms, playgrounds, dedicated space for art, music and chapel, and a 7,200 square foot multi-purpose room which would host theatrical and musical performances, assemblies, physical education classes, middle school inter-scholastic athletic programs, as well as before-school and after-school extended day programs. 1997 also saw the Preschool -- still situated in the St. Anne’s Parish house – fully incorporated into school life at the new campus.

Now in our second decade, we are ever more confident in the excellence of our student-centered program and its success in preparing graduates for demanding, college-prep programs and for meeting the challenges of the future with confidence. We celebrate our graduates who have built upon the strong foundation they received from St. Anne’s.

St. Anne’s Day School Mission

St. Anne's Day School invests in the intellectual and spiritual promise of each student in a community that celebrates diversity and values the dignity of every human being.

We challenge students to think critically and creatively, to know themselves as learners, and to govern their lives with confidence, compassion and integrity.

St. Anne's draws from its Episcopal tradition as an independent, co-educational school, serving students in preschool through eighth grade.
